Thoughts on Pinterest for Your Business
Using Pinterest for Business

Let's talk about Pinterest for your business.

Yes, I said Pinterest. For Your Business.

If you thought Pinterest was just for the personal stuff, it’s time for me to blow your mind. Someone has to be out there creating all that useful information right? That person can be you!

Add valuable, appealing content and those clicks can be yours.

I'm all about easy wins in business. I mean, there are enough challenges out there already right?

Pinterest is the social platform that I spend the least amount of effort to get the most clicks back to my website. It has been a lead generating machine for me on all of the websites I've ever created. Now, Rome wasn't built in a day and neither was my Pinterest account. I've had it since the early days but don't let that stop you from starting today if you haven't already. Over the next few posts, I'll be diving more into Pinterest and sharing my tips for finding success and LOTS of clicks.

We’re going to cover:

  • setting up a business account, or revamping your personal Pinterest account

  • board strategies

  • best practices for pins

  • tips to drive traffic back to your business

  • analytics

  • and probably much more!

While you wait, go ahead and check out my profile below. The account has evolved with me over several business iterations and Pinterest policy changes, but at the end of the day… it’s my #1 referrer of traffic 😱 Honestly, it’s something I still find shocking. But I will share my secrets with you!

Why Spend Your Marketing Budget on Email Marketing
Why Spend Your Marketing Budget on Email Marketing

In my last post I explained How to Get Started with Email Marketing in 3 Easy Steps. Now it’s time to back that up with WHY I believe you should be spending your marketing resources on email marketing in 2019. Yes, that’s right, I said 2019.

Need to generate leads? Use email marketing.

Need to nurture and engage your current customers? Use email marketing.

Need to recover all of those abandoned carts? You know what I’m about to say. Use email marketing.

Direct your focus to this important digital marketing activity, not because I say so (but, ahem, I am a 15 yr Marketing Veteran so that must count for something?), but because the DATA doesn’t lie!

This post from LYFE Marketing has 25 reasons. They include things like drive more conversions, most cost effective marketing tool, can be automated, drive traffic to your website, easy to measure, stay top of mind and so much more.

From BitBounce, here are some of those numbers you’re looking for:

So, are you convinced? If you haven’t started already, be sure to set a goal to implement ways to add email subscribers to your list. A list of your leads & customers doesn’t necessarily happen overnight, but I do have a free download if you’re ready to find out how to use opt-ins to quickly grow your list.
